The Blue Room Theatre’s Short Works Program, 600 SECONDS is returning to Summer Nights in 2024! If you have the nugget of an idea that might not be a fully-fledged festival show, 600 SECONDS could be perfect for you. You will create and present a 10-minute performance piece and receive a small seed fund and support from a program mentor.

The City of Bayswater invites local artists to express their interest in taking up a dedicated Artist in Residence space from 1 October – 30 November 2023. EOIs are now opened until 28 July 2023, 5PM.

This residency is open to individuals, partnerships or collectives, and is located on the ground floor of The RISE in the heart of Maylands, the 67sqm space overlooks the amphitheatre and is a short walk from the Maylands Town Centre.

Expressions of interest are now invited for the 2023 York Botanic Art Prize.  The prize was created to showcase artistic engagement with Western Australia’s incredible native flora, and to draw attention to the issues and challenges that face its protection and conservation.

The Town of Victoria Park is calling for Expressions of Interest to participate in two 6-week Artist in Residence programs at Curtin University’s Fine Art School Campus.

Entries are open for WA’s premier portrait prize – The Lester Prize. Now in its seventeenth year, this award is one of the nation’s most recognised and prestigious art prizes. With a prize pool totalling over $105,000, the competition is open to artists of all experience levels – emerging, midcareer and professional.
