Announcing the EWF At Home Residencies.
Time is our mink, our Lexus, our mansion. In a room full of writers of various kinds, time is probably the only thing that can provoke widespread envy more than acclaim. “Imposter” by Alexander Chee
In 2020, EWF is proud to announce the launch of the EWF At Home Residencies, a program that supports emerging writers by offering time and financial assistance to work on their craft.
The EWF At Home Residencies will see four emerging writers spending a fortnight working on their writing craft remotely at home, supported by the Emerging Writers’ Festival. The opportunity is open to writers of all genres and styles, including poetry, fiction, non-fiction, scriptwriting, YA, essays and short stories.
Successful applicants will not be expected to produce a complete outcome at the end of their residency but will be encouraged to provide a reflection on their residency in their chosen format, to be shared on EWF’s digital platforms.
