Paid Internships at The Last Great Hunt

BBJ+-+7.png

The Last Great Hunt aims to be recognised as a sustainable, Perth-based global theatrical force, regularly bringing acclaimed, invigorating, original work to local, national and international audiences. We take a leadership role in the development of the arts in Perth, while offering opportunities, resources and development to our artists and staff.

They are looking for three (3) emerging theatre makers/creatives for paid internships as part of a four-week creative development at the Perth Institute of Contemporary Art (PICA).

The development is a continuation of BAD BABY JEAN, a show created for live streaming earlier in the year, expanded to include an in-person audience. Four public development showings will take place in the final week of development.

The Last Great Hunt are looking for theatre makers, directors and designers (set, light and sound) who are interested in creating and learning about visual, devised and tech-based theatre.

There is the opportunity for individual creative projects made by the emerging artists to be performed as ‘curtain raisers’ in the final week of development.
