Writers 30 or under from across Australia can now apply for Express Media’s Toolkit Connect – a series of intensive, community and industry-specific online writing programs.
Toolkits Connect is a 12-week program for writers aged 30 and under to develop their skills, workshop their work and connect with other writers. Express Media is excited to present three streams: Graphic Narratives, Digital Storytelling and Poetry with stream facilitators to be announced soon!
The program includes specialised presentations from guest artists and industry experts, the opportunity to connect with and learn from an established writer and network with other young writers in the same literary form, as well as to contribute to an outcome towards the end of the program (format to be determined by the group and facilitator).
In each of the three streams, Toolkits Connect includes:
specialised presentations from guest artists
AMA sessions and presentations from industry experts
the opportunity to connect with and learn from an established writer
networking and collaboration opportunities with young peers working in the same literary form
an opportunity to showcase your work as part of a publication or performance outcome (format to be determined by the group and facilitators)
