My photography work is centred around the concept of patience, acceptance, and learning.  

In this workshop, you'll be guided to connect and learn about nature while respecting the spiritual essence and depth of the land that exists long before and after humans. Bring your camera and immerse in patience, respect, acknowledgment, and a deep connection with nature.

  • When: Saturday 28 November, 10:30 am - 1 pm

  • Where: Meet at Stickybeaks Cafe, Kings Park (just south of State War Memorial)

  • Price: $20 for Propel Members // $25 for Non-Members 

  • Bring: Camera, sun protection, comfortable walking shoes, and snacks

About Zal Kanga-Parabia

Zal Kanga-Parabia is an artist creating in the spaces of story, song, interactions with the natural world and connection. He studied a Bachelor of Arts (Photomedia and Physics) at Edith Cowan University, works at Propel Youth Arts WA, performs as Ru and is immersed in photography and film freelance art projects.

Walking Gently Across The Earth with Zal Kanga-Parabia is part of a workshop series for Mosaic, an annual community photography project that captures a collective narrative about a day in WA. Share your moment by registering for Capture Day happening on Sunday 6 December 2020 here.
