The WAYTCo team is reaching out to ask you to please gently elbow youth aged 13-26 within your community and networks to consider participating in WA Youth Theatre Company’s 2021 Act Belong Commit Loungeroom Project.

The WriteNow Program brings together eager WAYTCo members to work with professional Western Australian playwrights to develop their writing skills for theatre. Over the course of 8 weeks this program aims to empower young people to tell Western Australian stories from a youth perspective and build individual skills in storytelling, writing, performance, and character development.

WAYTCo is offering two six-week training courses in Direction for Opera with Brendan Hanson and Design for Opera with Zoe Atkinson... and at the end of the course a director and production designer will be appointed for West Australian Opera production of The Nightingale!

Calling all young people interested in performance and theatre! 🎭 WA Youth Theatre Company is inviting WA locals aged 13-26 to learn, rehearse, perform and win in their new Lounge Room Project. The Lounge Room Project will bring you 8 weeks of FREE professional tutorials to help you develop your own original work at home.

The Ngalaka Daa Ensemble is an exciting collaboration between Yirra Yaakin Theatre Company and WA Youth Theatre Company. This new Ensemble provides participants with the opportunity to receive intensive individual and collaborative development in theatre making, acting and Noongar language skills at a professional level.
