The Last Great Hunt aims to be recognised as a sustainable, Perth-based global theatrical force, regularly bringing acclaimed, invigorating, original work to local, national and international audiences. We take a leadership role in the development of the arts in Perth, while offering opportunities, resources and development to our artists and staff.

We’re looking for creative sound designers, composers, and technicians to collaborate with us on our upcoming large-scale production, WHISTLEBLOWER, scheduled for presentation in early 2021. This production requires multidisciplinary experts across theatre, film and live streaming fields to bring it life. If you are a creative that is interested in the blending of technology, experience design, games, film and art, then this could be your dream project!

WHISTLEBLOWER aims to expand the reach of theatrical experiences. It is an immersive, interactive role-playing game for one but on a grand, live film scale. A willing audience member is the “player”. Getting swept up in the fictional world that evolves around/with them, the audience works as creative ensemble to help give a unique experience with each show. 

REQUIREMENTS  

We’re particularly interested to hear from collaboratively minded creatives (Sound Designers, Composers, Engineers, Technicians) who possess a diverse range of skills to create high quality, rigorous, relevant art. You must be available throughout September to December 2020 to consult with the directors, and during Jan-Feb 2021 for rehearsals/presentation.
