YOUNG CREATIVES
DIVE INTO THE HEART OF PERTH FESTIVAL
We are looking for passionate young people interested in any art form – from film to music, photography to drama and visual arts to literature – who are keen to learn about culture and the arts in Western Australia.
About Young Creatives
Young Creatives dive right into the heart of Perth Festival, attending performances, visiting galleries, connecting with Festival staff and peeking behind the curtains to see what makes a festival tick. With a focus on West Australian artists and work, the 2021 Young Creatives will develop a deep understanding of the art being made in this place, artists and companies creating work here, and build connections that can grow over years to come.
Who You Are
To participate in Young Creatives, you should:
Be in Year 11 or 12 in 2021
Live in Western Australia
Have an interest in any art form
Be able to attend up to ten hours of activities (outside of regular school hours) each week during the 2021 Perth Festival (5 – 28 February)
