The Perth Festival’s Creative Weekender is a new multi-day program of events, talks, practical workshops and community building experiences. Perth Festival is looking for Western Australia’s curious, passionate and imaginative young people for a weekend to nourish your creative practice and build your tribe. This is a space where you will learn and create alongside industry mentors, creative leaders and Festival artists.

You will be supported and challenged to unpack big ideas, have critical conversations about art, and collaborate with one another across disciplines. This is for performers, writers, designers, those who like to be behind the scenes, and everyone in between.

Suitable for students in Year 9 – 12 in 2022,
the Creative Weekender will be happening at Subiaco Arts Centre from Sat 5 – Sun 6 March 2022.

Inspiring conversations, practical workshops and forging new artistic connections- this is an insight into the diverse and imaginative practices of our creative community, the careers you can have and the varied paths to get there.
