Paid opportunity for young CaLD and ATSI buskers

Propel Youth Arts WA is seeking talented young performers to be a part of the Mirrabooka Community Markets. 

The Mirrabooka Community Markets are currently looking for culturally and linguistically diverse and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander musicians to perform at the event. The markets include a combination of food, arts & crafts, artisan stalls, kids’ activities and entertainment.

Propel would like to offer CaLD and ATSI musicians aged between 12-26yrs the opportunity to showcase their musical talents at this event.

Musicians will be given up to two hours of performance time and they will be paid a fee of $300 for their performance. Any genre of music and performance is welcomed. To apply please complete the form below and we will be in touch shortly.

The markets will take place in The Mirrabooka Square Shopping Centre, 43 Yirrigan Drive, Mirrabooka and will run in the evening on the dates listed below.

  • Thursday 3rd February

  • Thursday 17th March

  • Thursday 14th April

We welcome and encourage anyone interested in taking part in this upcoming event to apply. Applications close 5pm Sunday 5th December.
