WA's premier annual exhibition of works by senior high students delivers a fascinating insight into the lives and minds of an emerging generation.

The young artists gain valuable experience from participating in a professionally curated exhibition, many going on to display their work in the prestigious Pulse Perspectives (formerly Year 12 Perspectives) at the Art Gallery of WA.

Studying the arts has been shown to increase empathy and compassion, encourage new ways of looking at things, and develop the creativity essential to progress - qualities the world needs more than ever.

Around 140 artworks will be displayed along the aisles of Perth's Gothic Revival Cathedral, presenting varied perspectives on the world from today's teens. Visitors are invited to choose the artwork that has the greatest impact on them, and vote for the People's Choice Prize, awarded at the close of the exhibition.
