Working with a special, custom-designed set, participants will learn about mood boards, set design and technical photography skills, such as ways to manipulate natural lighting and props. Participants should bring their own camera (camera phones can do the trick!). No prior photography experience necessary.

When: Monday 9 July, 10.30am -12.30pm
Cost: $10 (in advance on Eventbrite or cash at the door)
Ages: 15-25

About the artist: Tasha Tong is a young, cherry milkshake-loving creative professional based in Perth. She recently graduated from Curtin University with a degree in photography & illustration design. She is interested in creating images that are raw, empowering and reflective of connection, and has previously run workshops and collaborated with local brands and magazines. She hopes to create a space in the fashion and beauty industry where people will feel valid, understood and empowered.

This workshop is organised with Propel Youth Arts WA for Winter Peaks, Paper Mountain's inaugural winter program. It is supported by the Department of Local Government, Sports and Culture Industries.
