Would you like to experience the inner workings of an arts festival, gain creative contacts and knowledge across all art forms? Want to contribute to WA's proud and growing creative arts scene?
The Youth Week WA KickstART Festival 2022 is the largest annual celebration of young people across Western Australia. Propel Youth Arts WA is seeking enthusiastic volunteers who are interested in getting involved in the running of the festival in its new format.
This year we are going digital! With the continued spread of Omicron across our communities, we are shifting the festival program to be delivered in a range of mostly online and hybrid formats. This is a proactive decision to help minimise potential health risks and keep our artists, audiences, and stakeholders safe.
This is an opportunity to work for a large arts festival, gain new skills, and make connections. As a volunteer, you have the chance to engage in an ever-changing range of events and capacities.
The theme for Youth Week WA 2022 ‘Courage to Change – Boorak Korangan-ak' is about encouraging young people to shape decision-making, enact change and imagine futures we wish to inhabit.
We look forward to sharing the exciting updates of the festival program as they happen and remain determined to create a safe environment and enriching experience.
Volunteers are an invaluable part of the KickstART Festival each year. Regardless of your previous experience, we'd love to have you onboard!
KickstART Volunteer registrations close at midnight on Monday 21 March.
