With the announcement of our sixth callout, we seek to nurture artists, build solidarity, and develop a stronger network that sustains our communities long-term. We invite expressions of interest from artists, curators, producers and collectives across art forms to facilitate exhibitions, residencies and film screenings between August and December 2021. In particular, we enthusiastically welcome proposals from First Nations practitioners and practitioners of colour; and those working regionally, interstate or internationally. We invite First Nations voices to the forefront of our program, to set the conversation and the intentions of this space. 

With support from the Australia Council for the Arts, we are directing our recent project funding towards reducing the financial pressures that self-funded creative outcomes pose to independent artists. Specifically, there are no exhibition and residency hire fees for Cool Change’s current artistic program.
