The Lancelin Buskers Festival's Busking Competition is seeking entries from emerging and established performers to share over $3,000 in prize money.
The Lancelin Buskers Festival is now in its seventh year and is growing in popularity, attracting over 25 musicians and performers annually. Our beautiful coastal town comes alive with music, markets, and festivities for the whole family to enjoy!
Held on the 24th and 25th of September buskers will perform across ten "Busking Venues". Performances are typically 30-minute sets, with up to 4 performances each day. To be eligible to win prizes and to ensure fair competition, Buskers must perform on both days of the festival. Competition judging takes place over 2 days. The overall winner will be invited to play a 30-minute set live on stage on Sunday evening at the Finale Party and win $1000 in prize money.
Who Can Enter?
Anyone can be a busker. All you need is a desire to perform. Solo singers, duos, groups, musicians and instrumentalists of any genre, and non-musical street entertainers and performers, are welcome.
