Licorice Zine: Perth's art archive!

Licorice Zine wants to hear your voice! They are looking for artworks (digital, illustrations, collages,) written works (poetry, short stories, articles,) photography and anything else creative from Perth artists!

Submissions are currently open for our for magazine's first issue: Sun Burnt!
Sun Burnt relates to the time spent basking on the hot beach under the glaring sun to the dismay of waking up the next day with painful, peeling, red skin. It's the period of summer ending and the beginning of Autumn, the end of an era. What does this mean to you? Is it a bittersweet feeling or an enticement for the future? It may be a time to reflect on the past few months or a time to cherish and be carefree in the moment.

About Licorice Zine:

Licorice Zine, established in 2022, is a physical and digital publication by Perth artists for Perth artists. It can be difficult at times as an artist to feel heard, especially as a young artist.

Their mission with Licorice Zine is to create an unapologetically creative space in which Perth creatives can freely express themselves whether through art, writing, photography or music and attain exposure for their work while gaining inspiration from others.
