Perth Festival is seeking a system-loving Ticketing Coordinator to join our 2020 Festival ticketing team.

We are an annually curated multi-genre arts festival in Perth, WA that showcases the very best of national and international film, theatre, circus, dance, literature and music. The Lotterywest Film season runs from November to April and the Perth Festival runs across February and March, but we are busy all year planning and preparing for delivery. Our team expands from a core team of 27 to over 200 at the peak of Festival – creating a unique, fast paced and ever-changing working environment.

The role of Ticketing Coordinator is a fixed-term position, commencing part-time in July 2019 and moving to full-time from September to March 2020.

  • Working with our Ticketing Manager to build events in the Tessitura ticketing system

  • Looking after various ticketing needs across the team including VIP ticketing, donor ticketing, sponsor ticketing, media ticketing, artist ticketing, staff ticketing and accessible seat booking

  • Assisting the Box Office Supervisor to run the ticketing and customer service team

Our ideal team member will tick these boxes:

  • A great communicator that enjoys working in a high volume contact service environment

  • Previous experience with Tessitura or another ticketing system

  • A creative problem solver with an analytical mind
