Annie Lumby

I recently finished my degree in 2019 in 3D Design and Craft, in Brighton (UK), where I specialised in recycled plastics and heavy metal. My work was a series of sea creature puppets, each of whom highlighted different devastating ways micro plastics are affecting sea life. Using waste plastic collected on the beach, I made my own plastic material, which I used to create these creatures.

Now having moved back home to Australia, I have continued to use my plastic material to make statement jewellery, all aimed at promoting a more sustainable future.
