How to KickstART a Festival

KS20 Program Launch Group Shot.jpg

Putting together a large scale festival is no walk in the park, especially when it’s cancelled 4 weeks before launch and then you’re given 6 weeks to develop and program a whole new festival…

Join the Propel Youth Arts WA team as they share their knowledge and experience of putting together a festival driven by young voices, the importance of representation, facing and overcoming challenges, and how COVID-19 led us to book an international Grammy award winning artist.

Also, did we mention JOB OPPORTUNITY?

A week before this talk Propel will have released the call out for applications for the 2021 KickstART Festival Creative Coordinator. Cecile and Kobi will be able to answer any questions about the role and the application process. We will also be taking on 3 interns for the festival so don't miss the chance to find out more about these opportunities!

****This event will be streamed live via Zoom and requires pre-registration. You'll receive a Zoom link prior to the event.****

Propel Youth Arts WA operates on the lands of the Whadjuk Noongar peoples. We pay our respects to Elders past and present.
