Taking This Time Positively: Social Distancing During COVID-19

In light of the COVID-19 situation happening around the world, we're living in very uncertain and stressful times. Although times are tough, we can get through this. 👍🏻

There might be some of you who have started to work from home and are practising social distancing like us. Despite the Coronavirus, we can still take this time positively.

💠 CREATE: draw, paint, scribble, write a poem or your next book!! If you're working from home, keep working! Catch up on that creative project you've been putting aside, podcast? Tik Tok?? Becoming a YouTube star?

💠 CONSUME: read books, play videogames, watch Netflix, read up on experiences of others during the COVID-19 pandemic, cook and eat something you've made from scratch.

💠 TO-DO LIST: clean your room, do laundry, water your plants. Check off the things you need to do!

💠 BE STILL: do nothing and relax at home, destress and slow down. Meditate, breathe deeply and think good thoughts. Catch up on sleep. It's ok to do nothing.

💠 FRIENDS & FAMILY: host a videocall party, call that friend you haven't seen in ages, have meals with your housemates or family if you live with them! Hang out with your pets!!

Most of all stay safe, practice good hygiene practices and check in on friends and family. People might be experiencing feelings of anxiety, but y'all have to remind yourself that everything will be ok. 💖
