Work with Propel: Creative Coordinator for Youth Week WA KickstART Festival 2024

Do you want to be the creative force behind the 2024 Youth Week WA KickstART Festival? 🎨🎭🎤

Propel is looking for an emerging WA artist or arts worker who can help highlight the creativity of young people to our communities in Western Australia. You will get to work with other young people and plan a week of fun and inspiring events for the Youth Week WA KickstART Festival, which will be held 5 - 12 April 2024.

We are looking for someone who:

  • loves youth arts and culture

  • has knowledge and networks in the WA creative scene

  • is not afraid to try new things and challenge the status quo.

As the Creative Coordinator, you will:

  • work with the Youth Week Committee to develop a statewide theme for Youth Week WA and develop key activities for the KickstART Festival

  • lead the artistic direction and creative programming of the festival

  • consult with young people on what they want to see and do at the festival

  • help us celebrate the contributions of young people to our community.

 

The KickstART Festival is Propel’s largest annual event and Youth Week WA is an annual statewide celebration of the positive contributions of young people to our community throughout Western Australia. KickstART offers young people aged 12-26 a chance to enjoy free workshops, talks, performances, exhibitions, markets, and more.
