YOUR CHANCE TO BE ON THE PULSE of PULSE PERSPECTIVES

7 March – 29 June

An opportunity to give Guided Tours at the Art Gallery of WA

Pulse Perspectives is a favourite on AGWA’s exhibition calendar.  It is an opportunity for young artists to showcase through their work things that matter to them.

In 2020, for the first time, AGWA will introduce guided tours of this exhibition.  To bring a youth perspective to our tours, the AGWA Guides wish to invite 10 people to train as ‘Adjunct Guides’ to co-share tours with us.

Voluntary Adjunct Guides will receive a full day’s Training on guiding techniques, and introductory sessions with an experienced Guide Mentor.  Applicants should be prepared to share 3 tours over weekdays or weekends with dates arranged to suit you and AGWA.  An interest in the local arts scene is required, but a formal art qualification is not necessary.

This is an opportunity to develop your skills in public speaking, leadership and networking in the dynamic environment of the Art Gallery of Western Australia.

This is a voluntary position.

An Information Day will be held on 27 February 2020.  If you would like to participate in this exciting initiative, please send your EOI with details of your suitability to be an Voluntary Adjunct Guide at AGWA by 21 February to;

Stephanie Watson,

Volunteer Gallery Guides Coordinator,
