APPLICATIONS OPEN FOR THE 2022 GATHERERS’ COLLECTIVE!

CALLING ALL OF PERTH’S THEATRICAL TALENTS!

Applications are now open for The Last Great Hunt’s Gatherers’ Collective, a unique professional development program, created and lead by Jeffrey Jay Fowler.

Each year we open the door to 8 independent artists and give them the opportunity to develop their theatrical creativity in a professional and supportive environment. Members will get to know us and have the chance to learn unique methods of creating theatre from all six of the Hunters. Each member will have their creativity fostered and be provided practical insights on how to devise performance works, and how to develop a career within the Perth Theatre Industry. The Gatherers are paid for all their time in the collective, as The Last Great Hunt believe in investing in the theatre makers of the future.

ELIGIBILITY:

The Gatherers’ Collective is for emerging artists.

Attendance is mandatory at all sessions.

People who are currently studying theatre/performance making at an educational institution full-time are not eligible to apply.

DESIRABILITY:

Our first year was extremely competitive, with 130 people applying for only 8 positions. We are looking for creativity, resilience, ability to collaborate, unique perspective, diversity of thought and background.

KEY DATES:

Applications Open: Thursday, 5th May 2022

Applications Close: 5pm, Tuesday, 17th May, 2022
