Arts Officer

This is an exciting and dynamic role that will see the successful candidate foster and progress the health and vibrancy of the arts in the Armadale district. It will include identifying and facilitating arts initiatives across a range of art forms that connect and build on the strengths of the community, working collaboratively with internal departments and community groups and progressing the development of the City's Arts Collection.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the arts and community sectors and be passionate about empowering local groups to achieve long term community outcomes through the arts. This person will be a team player who shares innovative ideas, takes a key role in reviewing, updating and developing relevant processes and has the aptitude to work in a local government environment.
