Propel Youth Arts WA is seeking applications from young and emerging artists (aged 12 - 26) who want to gain valuable performance opportunities in public spaces within the City of Perth.

We are seeking applications from young and emerging artists (aged 12 - 26) who want to gain valuable performance opportunities in public spaces within the City of Perth.

10 applicants will be chosen to perform in our March/April 2019 busking program. 

Successful applicants will be offered:

• 2 PAID performance slots in the lead-up to and during the Youth Week WA Kickstart Festival on top of collecting regular gratuities and money from the public during your performance.

• A 12-month busking licence

• Professional photography and videography

Due to the nature of busking, we anticipate that most artists will have a performance background but we will consider artists and groups (of up to four people) from all disciplines (including visual arts) subject to space availability.

Please note that artists under the age of 14 years must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times and are not permitted to perform during school hours or on school days, or between 7.00pm and 6.00am on any day.
