That's right Propel Youth Arts WA is again on the hunt for a Creative Coordinator for the 2019 Youth Week WA KickstART Festival. We are looking for someone who is passionate about youth arts, has excellent networks within the WA arts industry and is not afraid of a challenge.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
This role has been developed with the intent of providing an emerging Western Australian artist to provide the creative programming impetus and artistic direction for the Youth Week WA KickstART Festival in 2019.
Tapping into their established industry networks and creative experience, the Creative Coordinator (CC) will consult with the Youth Week WA Planning Committee and Propel Youth Arts WA, to develop a theme, format and key activities for Youth Week WA – including free workshops, forums, KickstART Festival Day and other special events – that are inclusive, accessible and engage young people aged 12 - 26.
Throughout their engagement with Propel, the CC will work closely with the Project Development Officer (PDO), who will manage key administration duties and produce the events of WA Youth Week, along with the Executive Director (ED), Operations Manager (OM), interns, volunteers, and partner organisations.
