This is where young thinkers, innovators, entrepreneurs, campaigners and changemakers from Perth and WA come together to celebrate ideas worth spreading and strive for a better future. With nine remarkable speakers, performers, short films, interactive installations and the chance to meet over five hundred like-minded young people, TEDxYouth@Perth connects the local to the global.

How does it work? The whole event is made by young people - TEDxYouth@Perth have a Youth Panel (aged 11-24) and Youth Curators (see them all at https://www.tedxperth.org/our-team) who have devised the whole event.

Why would a young person want to go?

This is for any young person who is over being described as "the future". TEDxYouth@Perth is young people talking about the issues they face and the solutions they need. And having their voice amplified by the global brand of TED: TEDxPerth talks have already been viewed more than 9 million times and the speakers of TEDxYouth@Perth will add to that.
