After returning from an Australian tour, internationally acclaimed author Maddie Godfrey will return to her hometown to launch her debut poetry collection "How To Be Held".
Held at City of Perth Library, this is the second of two Perth book launches. This event will include a poetry reading by Maddie, a Q&A section, plus complimentary tea and biscuits. Book sales will be available on the night (cash only).

About the Author; Best described as “a poetry fireball”, Maddie Godfrey has performed at The Sydney Opera House, The Royal Albert Hall, TEDxWomen and Glastonbury Festival. Maddie’s writing has been internationally published on posters, in anthologies, in magazines, and was included in the 2016 English Literature WACE exam. In 2017, Maddie was a writer-in-residence at St Paul’s Cathedral in London. Maddie is not a morning person.
