Herstory- The Leading Ladies has been hailed as ‘burlesque for the thinking person’, a fun and sexy expose of Western history's most notoriously ill-written femmes.

Starring Imogen Kelly , Herstory is satirical striptease at it's most outrageous. Herstory features comedy, narrative, song, dance, aerials, magic, short films, puppetry, cake desecration, sumptuous costumes and glorious displays of abandonment in a comedic celebration of outlandish women in power.

Imogen Kelly is Australia's first lady of striptease not only renowned as Australia’s Queen of Burlesque but also crowned World Queen of Burlesque in 2012 (Burlesque Hall of Fame, Las Vegas).

Imogen’s background shows the variety of her styles; from Moulin Rouge kick lines to shows for celebrities and sheiks, from high-end Japanese geisha weddings to burlesque festivals around the world. With a BFA in Performance (COFA) under her belt, a diploma in Circus Arts (ZACCA- UK 1997), a diploma in film making (Sydney University 1995) and a NIDA degree in directing (2003), Imogen has enjoyed a jet-setting career as an international show pony. She is also a professional trapeze artist/aerialist and filmmaker.

Off the stage, Imogen is also an avid campaigner for breast cancer awareness. After losing her breasts at the height of her year as Queen of Burlesque in 2013, Imogen started the Dukes Up breast cancer awareness campaign and holds workshops for women in remissions and undergoing reconstruction.
