Inside We Hide || Fringe World Festival || TCRF

  • The Blue Room Theatre 53 James Street Northbridge Australia (map)

Mary, Louise and Andy love to play the blame game. They’ve played it their whole lives and don’t know how to stop.

They are trapped in a room, with rope tied to their ankles with no way to get out. Someone they know is being held hostage as a bargaining tool to make a trade. They are forced to face their worst enemy, their hardest critic and their deepest problem - themselves.

Inside we hide is an on stage thriller about escape and all those dirty little denials that we hide inside ourselves. A dark story of sacrifice and guilt, weaving its way as a psychological thriller exploring what we are willing to let people die for.

Written by long time collaborator at The Cutting Room Floor, Ann-Marie Biagioni, and directed by Artistic Director Scott Corbett, Inside We Hide is semi-biographical story born from lived experiences. For The Cutting Room Floor, it is an exciting chance to play with a new genre and tell a unique story that so many people can relate to.
