Provide a description for your event: The WA Youth Jazz Orchestra is proud to commission multi-award-winning composer and WAYJO alumnus Johannes Luebbers, who has created an exciting contemporary new work for the Wednesday Night Orchestra.

Johannes is a forward thinking, innovative composer having worked with a variety of ensembles from Orchestra Victoria to Decibel, to Shane Warne the Musical, while still leading his own Johannes Luebbers Dectet, composing musical theatre show Melba, and embarking on a musical PhD research project. Tonight’s concert blends Johannes’ musical influences into complex orchestration and sophisticated melodies.
