Cabaret Soiree 2014: Beer Drinking Woman featuring Christa Hughes and Leonie Wilson is on this September at His Majesty's Theatre.
Follow the night of a lush from that first dizzying sip all the way through to the hair-of-the-dog hangover blues. The piano has been drinking cheap wine with Dinah Washington and Tom Waits as the incomparable Christa Hughes (Machine Gun Fellatio, Circus Oz) shines her amber light on the age old art of the raising of the wrist, with a repertoire of jazzy, bluesy, boozy favourites, and some salutational shots of her own composition.
