Extra Ordinary People by Second Chance Theatre

Welcome to Destiny City, where the coffee is hot, the citizens are restless, and the superhero battles are frequent! For the past two years, Captain Astonishing has been protecting DC’s skies from the menacing figure known as The Destroyer, and while the city is still standing, some people have had enough.

Polly, an ordinary barista, decides to stand against the superbeings after a Chevy gets thrown into her work. Together with a tough-as-nails ex-cop, two loveable but excitable nerds, and a top government scientist, Polly puts into motion a course of events that catch the attention of the higher ups. We’re talking higher-than-skyscrapers high.

Directed and with book by Perth based writer Scott McArdle, and composed by Malaysian artist Nick Choo, "Extra Ordinary People" is a brand new musical about the difference that a single person can make in the face of insurmountable odds.
