Dorothy Fields’ lyrics are at the heart of the Great American Songbook. From Tin Pan Alley to Broadway and Hollywood, the songs she wrote with Jimmy McHugh, Jerome Kern and Cy Coleman defined an era and delighted millions. The creators of You’ve Got that Thing: A Celebration of Cole Porter re-unite to introduce cabaret fans to one of the forgotten greats, and to the titans of music theatre with whom she made magic.
