Describe yourself and what you do in a sentence

“I am a Weeb, I’m also an artist who specialises in traditional and digital depending on my mood.”

Why do you do what you do?

“Mainly I create artwork.”

What would your autobiography be called?

“Crippling anxiety and Copic markers.”

What food, drink, song inspires you?

“Japanese candy (stuff like Konpeito, Pocky, Popin cookin’ kits) for drinks… booze. As for music, it really depends on the vibe I’m going for, but at the moment I enjoy listening to a lot of 60’s Gogo songs from Japan.”

List 5 items that are always in your bag

“Copic markers, Drawing book, Rescue Remedy, Aquarelles and mechanical pencil.”

How did you start making art?

“I started using drawing as a means of escapism back in 2010 to help distract me from all the awful stuff going on at school. One day I decided I had enough and dropped out of school. They were supposed to have a somewhat decent disabilities service since I was autistic but their idea of an autistic person was drastically different to mine, it was awful. Luckily my mum came to the rescue and decided to homeschool me from that point on. Art became therapeutic to me as a means to keep my imagination active when school tried to mould me into something I’d hate to be.”

If you could steal credit for any great piece of art, song, film, book etc, which one would you claim?

“Nah, stealing’s bad. Look at Amy Schumer.”

What would finally break the Internet?

“Probably Trump’s assassination.”

If you had one message to get out to the world, what would it be?

“Death is inevitable, have that slice of cake, tell that person you love them, go on a shopping cart ride with your friends in the middle of the night and walk home underneath an emerald sky with the dim street lights guiding you home…”
